The D in Pauly D might now stand for dad. Or diapers.
MTV's Jersey Shore star Paul DelVecchio tells TMZ, "I'm proud I'm a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life."
But let's back up a minute. Who's the mom? Where's the child?
According to TMZ and E! News, the mother, a woman he met last year while doing a DJ job in Las Vegas, is 26. She recently gave birth to the baby girl and now she has filed court papers in New Jersey to formally establish paternity, but TMZ says Pauly has taken a DNA test and knows he's the dad.
Pauly D, 33, retweeted a message that read, "You'll make a Great Father Bro, Crazy News."
"Thank you," he answered.
