Like her older superstar sister, Britney Spears, 21-year-old Jamie Lynn is finally making it as an official solo artist with her newly-debuted single, “How Could I Want More.”
However, she’s not doing pop songs.
The former Nickelodeon child star, who is now engaged to Jamie Watson, seems she’s going towards the country side of things with the way that her new track reminds us of Taylor Swift‘s hits, “Teardrops on My Guitar” and “Tim McGraw.” And, we have to say, we’re loving the surprise factor!
We’re sure she made Britney proud, too!

One of the best things about being a royal is all theother famous people you get to meet. And one of the best things about being Taylor Swift is getting to meet a royal.
So it was hard to tell who looked more pleased when Taylor Swift went to Kensington Palace today to meet HRH Prince William at a reception, and to perform at a gala for one of his favorite charities.
"Awesome!" she was reported to have said after meeting the prince. "He was very funny. I was really happy he was funny."
She looked very grown up dressed in an off-the-shoulder chiffon column gown with a gold-lace bodice and a plunging neckline.
She wasn't the only star, nor even the only American star, at the Winter Whites gala for Centrepoint, the homeless-youth charity William took on for his mother Princess Diana after she died in 1997.
Bon Jovi was scheduled to perform, too, and Jon Bon Jovi brought his wife and three kids to the reception to meet the prince, who happily posed with them all.
Before the performances, William mingled with Swift, Bon Jovi and other stars (actorsColin Firth, Benedict Cumberbatch, Michelle Dockery) at a reception for 200 major donors, held in one of the state rooms of the palace decorated in a winter-wonderland theme.
William now lives with wife Duchess Kate and son Prince George at Kensington Palace, but the duchess stayed home with the baby at their 21-room apartment nearby. (She had not been expected at the party.)
Swift seemed to be having a good time, according to the tweets of journalists who were there, but may not have caught everything said to her, according to Valentine Low of The Times of London.
"Interviewed Taylor Swift on red carpet at Kensington Palace," he tweeted. "It went well. 'I love your accent but I just don't know what you're saying.'"
By the way, it was the second public engagement of the day for William, who earlier went to the London Zoo with his father Prince Charles to see the new tiger enclosure, and to highlight their joint conservation effort to fight the illegal trade in wildlife.

Recently there have been reports on numerous celebrity gossip websites and magazines that the two had broken up, but the couple squashed those rumors on Sunday when they attended the YouTube Music Awards together and appeared happy and giggly throughout the entire show.
At one point Gaga, who was wearing what appeared to be a set of gross fake teeth, received a sweet kiss from her hunky beau while onlookers cheered and applauded.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney blew up break up rumors on Sunday with some serious PDA. The couple, who supposedly split recently, were caught kissing on video after the YouTube Awards.
Lady Gaga has reportedly split up with her boyfriend.
The 'Applause' hitmaker has been dumped by her actor beau Taylor Kinney - whom she has been dating since 2011 - after he struggled to deal with her demanding work schedule.
A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Taylor has told her she's married to her career and that he can't deal with dating Gaga the mega-star and all her obsessions and alter-egos.
''He loves the cool, down-to-earth girl but hardly gets to see her. Gaga never stops working -- she writes songs in the shower and dreams up new outfits in her sleep.
''She has a whole security team as well as several assistants with her at all times. Out of every month there's maybe just one night out of her and his crazy work schedules that they can be a couple.''
The 27-year-old singer has been struck with a string of bad luck this year after undergoing debilitating hip surgery in February, having life-long friends turn their backs on her, and losing her pet dog Alice last week.
However, as Gaga - real name Stefani Germanott - attempted to throw herself back into her work after the split, Taylor was photographed with his 'Chicago Fire' co-star Brittany Curran at a recent baseball game.
The source said: ''Maybe they'll work things out over Thanksgiving. Gaga's hoping to meet up with Taylor when their schedules allow to talk things through. Taylor told her they need time apart, and it's looking as if this might lead to a permanent split. He's been hanging out with other girls in Chicago and hasn't seen Gaga for weeks now.''
