Kanye West accuses Nike of extortion

Ahh, another day, another Kanye West rant against the fashion world. Having ditched his contract with Nike for a more lucrative one with Adidas - he has to think about the royalties for his daughter, you know? - the rapper has lashed out about Nike's codes of sales conduct within store.

The lucky listeners of Kanye's speech were those expecting to hear less about sneakers, and more of album Yeezus, at Miami's American Airlines Arena, according to Page Six.

"How many of you are waiting for the red Yeezies?" the intermission began. "You know what they told my homey who owned the store up there? They said, 'If you want the Yeezies, you've got to take 10 other shoes from Nike.' That's called extortion!" the rapper quipped.

Call us Sherlock, but might Kanye just be venting his beef with Nike over the fact he received zero royalties from the sales of his Yeezy trainers? Now that Adidas have come 'a calling with a flashy, high-income deal, Kanye must be wishing he's stood his ground over his design rights with Nike.

Sorry Kanye, this isn't to do with your homey. You've been rumbled.
